Bharat Petro Resources Limited (BPRL), formed in 2006, is a wholly-owned subsidiary and Exploration and Production (E&P) arm of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). While BPCL is engaged in the midstream and downstream segment in India, BPRL carries out upstream activities both in India and overseas. BPRL has a participating interest (PI) in 24 blocks spread across 8 countries along with equity stake in 2 Russian entities holding the license to 4 producing assets.
